1. Scope
This policy explains what information Licenseify ("we", "us") collects when you use licenseify.net (the "Service"), why, and how it is handled. By using the Service you accept it. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
2. What we collect
Order details: your email address, the server IP address a license is issued for, and which license you ordered. Payment status: whether a payment succeeded, failed or was refunded, received from our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number. Technical data: IP address, browser, device and operating system, and pages visited, as recorded by our servers and Cloudflare. Support history: tickets and emails you send us. We do not ask for passport details, identity documents, photos or anything beyond what an order needs. Account data: your email address, how you log in (Google or a one-time email code; a password, if you set one, is stored only as a hash), your balance and your invoice and payment history. Support: the messages you write in tickets and any files you attach.
3. How we use it
Only to deliver and activate your license; to contact you about your order, notices and support; to process payments and refunds; to protect the Service against fraud and abuse; and to understand and improve how the Service works.
4. Cookies and location
Only functional cookies, none for tracking: lang remembers your language; lic_session (and a harmless lic_in marker) keep you logged in for up to 100 days. To suggest a language, we read your country from your IP address and your browser time zone; we do not store either.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with payment and infrastructure providers (such as hosting and Cloudflare) to the extent needed to run your order, when the law requires it, or when you ask or agree to it.
6. Retention and security
We keep data as long as needed for the purposes above, including order and refund records, then delete or anonymise it. We take reasonable measures to protect it, but no transmission over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing support@licenseify.net or opening a support ticket. We may keep what we must keep for legal or payment-dispute reasons.
8. Third parties and risk
Other websites and our providers' services have their own policies. We are not responsible for losses caused by third parties or by your own actions, such as sharing your credentials.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version, with its date, is always on this page; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the new version.
